Come one, come all to Opéra’s OPEN AIR FAIR! Experience the wonder of music, art, and dance at this FREE family friendly event on Saturday, November 6th from 11:30AM-1:30PM at the River Center Branch Library, downtown. Attendees can enjoy a live performance of “Hoffmann’s Infinite Imagination” featuring costumed characters and beautiful ballet dancers. Create your own art projects, meet a musician, participate in a storytelling event, and challenge your wits on a scavenger hunt!
Opéra Louisiane is thrilled to partner with the River Center Branch Library, Red Stick Project, Kids’ Orchestra, and Dance Center and School of Performing Arts for the Open Air Fair.
11:30AM – Activities begin
11:40AM – Kids’ Orchestra Drum Circle
12:00PM – “Hoffmann’s Infinite Imagination”
1:00PM – “Tubby the Tuba,” interactive reading with Dr. Larry Heard
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own bag chairs for the performance on the library plaza. Parking in the River Center lots and walking up St. Louis Street is recommended.
